OPENING FALL 2026 • STAR, IDAHO
The Autism House Family Resource Center is being created as a welcoming physical home for Idaho’s autism community—a place where autistic people and their families can find practical guidance, peer connection, sensory-friendly support, and a community that understands.

WHY THE CENTER MATTERS
Autistic people and their families are often expected to piece together answers across schools, service providers, community programs, and unfamiliar systems. Even knowing where to begin can feel overwhelming.
The Autism House is being created to make that path more human: one welcoming location for questions, connection, practical guidance, and community.
• Ask questions without judgment
• Connect with people who understand
• Find practical local resources
• Identify a clearer next step
DESIGNED AROUND REAL LIFE
The environment is planned around comfort, clarity, and connection—not a one-size-fits-all experience.
01
Quiet areas and thoughtful accommodations are intended to support different sensory needs and make visits feel more manageable.
02
Peer mentorship and practical navigation can help families work through questions about schools, services, advocacy, and everyday life.
03
Flexible gathering spaces will support programs, family events, community conversations, and relationships that continue beyond a single visit.
COMING TO THE CENTER
Planned offerings are designed to make support easier to access and community easier to find.
Peer Mentorship
Connections with experienced guides who understand the journey and can help newer families feel less alone.
