WHY THE AUTISM HOUSE

Built From Lived Experience

The Autism House Foundation began with a family’s own search for clear answers, practical help, and a community that understood.

Today, that experience is shaping a permanent home where autistic people and their families can find guidance, peer connection, sensory-friendly support, and a genuine sense of belonging.

SUPPORT AVAILABLE NOW

Practical Support Happening Today

The resource center is the next chapter, but the work is already underway. The foundation currently provides IEP mentorship, self-advocacy support, sensory-space consulting, community events, and training for first responders and businesses.

Mobile sensory spaces also bring calmer, more accessible environments directly to festivals, fairs, and community gatherings across the Treasure Valley.

THE STAR RESOURCE CENTER

A Space Designed for Real Life

The Autism House is being created as a welcoming community living room where autistic people and their families can exhale, connect, and find practical support.

Sensory-Friendly Hub

Quiet spaces and thoughtful accommodations designed to support different sensory needs.

Peer Support & Navigation

Practical guidance from people who understand the journey and can help identify the next step.

Connection & Community

Programs and gathering spaces designed to reduce isolation and build lasting relationships.
